Starfield is an action role-playing game developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. Starfield takes place in the year 2330, in the galaxy of The Settled Systems, which is made up of more than a thousand planets. The player takes on the role of a character who can be customized in terms of appearance, race, skills and attributes. The objective of the game is to explore the galaxy, complete missions and discover secrets.

The game offers a variety of activities for players, including exploration where players can freely travel between planets, exploring different biomes and creatures, missions which, as expected, would have a variety of main and side missions, which can be completed in different ways and the construction of their own bases on selected planets.

When playing Starfield for the first time I was very excited, it was a game that was highly anticipated by the gaming community and had a lot of hype surrounding it. At the beginning of the game I was already disappointed, and I'll just say that I didn't complete the game and I don't believe I will. Starfield was well below my expectations and, I believe, many people's.

The beginning of the plot is without any context, you can play for a few hours and still have no answers, it is a story thrown in the player's face, as it is an RPG it is understandable that there is a lot of dialogue, but what made me most irritated is that for you To progress in the story it is necessary to go through all the dialogue options, leading to 10 minutes or more of unnecessary dialogue.

Another detail that we can notice when starting the game is its very simple menu without the slightest spatial characteristics and a soundtrack that is ideal with the theme, but because it is something so simple it goes completely unnoticed in the story, contrary to what happens in the film Interstellar.

Starfield's expressions leave the player in moments of embarrassment when they believe they might be playing a game from the old generation, Hogwarts Legacy, also an RPG game, has precise, necessary dialogues and a great quality of expressions, leaving the player free when viewing your character and the other, unlike this, Starfield leaves something more rigid where the player cannot move the camera during the dialogues or see his body. Furthermore, at times the dubbing is completely out of sync with the character's mouth.

Starfield has dry combat, when using the numerous weapons in the game, the player does not feel the shot he is firing at his enemies, this is something minimal that could not be missing in a game that has a warehouse full of weapons. The loading screen is another point that makes the player lose all his enthusiasm during the game, there is loading for everything, to enter the ship, leave the ship, leave the planet, enter the planet, enter closed environments, exit environments closed and much more. Not to mention the continuity errors that exist in the games, not just during gameplay but in their cutscenes.

Starfield is a game that has excellent graphics, only at its highest performance, any configuration below that is catastrophic, Bethesda, despite managing to create an excellent environment, was unable to make an open world as lively as in, for example, Red Dead Redemption II .

With few bugs, something unexpected for a game like this, Starfield it leaves reality aside at times to make a game more adaptable to a gaming reality, for example the shooting of ships in space, which in real life you wouldn't be able to hear, in Starfield this is possible. It is a game that has undergone a lot of study and this is very evident, the game has a high complexity, only the most studious will understand all the details in the game.

Ultimately, Starfield disappointed many due to the lack of context in the initial plot, excessive and uninteresting dialogue, out-of-sync voice acting, and unsatisfactory combat. Despite excellent graphics, high performance and few bugs, some elements break the immersion, making it less immersive than other similar games. Starfield is complex and requires attention to detail, but it may not appeal to all players.
