Watching a Nolan movie at the cinema is a privilege, after a few anxious and very anxious days I managed to watch an Oscar-worthy film for 3 hours. In Oppenheimer we can see all the elements that can be found in a Nolan film, but there was something very different in this film that even surprised many fans. The director is known for making complex films and dealing a lot with the issue of time and working very well with the script, in Oppenheimer we find this and much more. For example, nudity scenes are almost nonexistent in his films, but we have it for the first time in this film and in a very realistic way that can generate discomfort for a public screening.

Oppenheimer has a triumphant cast as in any Nolan film, the choice of Cillian Murphy for the lead role was an excellent choice, not only because he has participated in Nolan films before, but because he is an ideal choice for the character who will become looks a lot like him through his imposing gaze.

I can say that the film has three arcs of Robert Oppenheimer's life, the first one I believe lasts approximately an hour of the film, which is the origin of Robert Oppenheimer with many shots of the third arc with the consequences of the second arc of the plot by Oppenheimer. Yeah, it's something very characteristic of Nolan that is present in the film.

In Oppenheimer, tension takes hold of the viewer at all times and the film has the help of Ludwig Göransson's magnificent soundtrack, which conveys this tension in an extreme way with peculiar moments in the film in which we have small arrangements from a low scale to the maximum and when we realize that we can have something happening in minutes, we are met with an agonized silence.

It is a film that captures the viewer with its highly agonizing part and makes anyone feel in the shoes of Robert Oppenheimer at all costs, especially when we are about to see the bomb test and, as expected, it is a unique sensation both visual as sentimental, it's magnificent, it's Christopher Nolan. After the end of the second arc, the most tense and majestic arc of the film, it manages to relapse, I am not saying that it was not necessary to tell the facts that occurred but I believe that it was a little off the axis and managed to detach me from the film.

Oppenheimer is much more than a mere biographical film, we have an excellent script with a heavy story that makes us feel in Robert's shoes at all times, the cast and soundtrack are exuberant, the end of the film manages to close with a golden key and pass on a very impactful message that made me stand still for 10 seconds looking at the movie screen after it ended. And this is another detail, this film needs to be seen in a place with excellent audio quality, like the cinema, because the immersion will be much greater.
