Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness – Let there be creativity for little multiverse | Review

Released in May 2022, the sequel to the first Doctor Strange film, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, is a film produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios, which is directed by Sam Raimi from a written screenplay. by Michael Waldron, and brings back Benedict Cumberbatch, in addition to the cast of Elizabeth Olsen, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Benedict Wong, Xochitl Gomez, Michael Stuhlbarg and Rachel McAdams.

In the film, Doctor Strange travels to the Multiverse to protect America Chavez, a young woman capable of traveling across the Multiverse from Wanda. America Chavez and an alternate version of Dr. Strange are pursued by a demon in the space between universes while searching for the Book of Vishanti. This version of Dr. Strange ends up being killed and Chavez accidentally creates a portal that sucks them in. Meanwhile, on Earth-616, Dr. Strange attends the wedding of his ex-fiancée, Dr. Christine Palmer. During the wedding, an octopus demon wreaks havoc chasing Chavez, but Dr. Strange saves Chavez and kills the demon with the help of Wong, the Sorcerer Supreme. Chavez explains that demons are hunting her because she has the power to travel the Multiverse.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has a humor characteristic of Marvel films and that may end up going unnoticed in this film, as the film is much more focused on the action of the adventure of the plot. One of the best things about the movie is the references you can feel when watching the movie, while watching the movie I came across thoughts like: “I'm watching a Chucky movie… no, wait. I'm watching Game of Thrones… no, wait. I'm watching a Star Wars movie." The coolest thing is that it's not something clear, it's something that depends a lot on who watches the movie, because each one has their luggage of watched movies.

An epic musical note-throwing fight that had me gawking at what was passing in front of me. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness despite being a Marvel movie ends up being a little family friend movie, for all its violence even without being so explicit.
